If you take a closer look at the history of Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison, you will find that Tesla had the more brilliant ideas, but Edison was the better salesman. Edison therefore became a rich man, while Tesla ended up in old-age poverty. This extreme example shows how important sales or the sales department is in a company. Regardless of whether it is a start-up or a corporation, the sales department must ensure that the customers outside also experience and are convinced of the quality of the products or services.
